The clattering ambient industrial noise in Life As A Beast acts as a counterpoint to the alienated protagonists, who are caught, with obligatory contorted expressions, in an animated sci-fi hell in which they are successively wrapped in plastic sheeting by police, trapped in futuristic-looking cars or seem threatened other sorts of doom..."
